The classes and the mess food sometime and some faculty members
The chicken of paid mess is quite impressive

The classes are very nice and our faculty team was also nice and there were 80-100 students each in one class The professors are also very well trained and some are graduated from IIT's Main problem is The money They fine on small things

Internships starts at 3 year in our course as our senior said infosys google and other company visits this campus a student done civil from chitkara and now he is making a building in chitkara campus (hostel)

We don't know the creiteria of placements because we are in first year and dont know that much about this but as we listened from our seniors 2-6 lakh average package usually offered by the company and company like infosys

Fees structure is slightly expensive than other colleges per semester fee is 80 thousand and including hostel the hostel fee of per semester is 33 thousand and those students who want best placement can visit rajpura campus

Life is very boring in this campus you have to take permission for small things you have to apply gatepass for outings this is the worst thing I have ever seen in college life I thought college life is quite independent but hufff what we can do now

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is quite bad you have to give explainations for small things and wardens are not so good everytime blames on us so i think thry should have to work on their convo skills and need to work on their understanding

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi. I got a confirmed admission from many colleges like BML munjal university, GNA university, Chandigarh university, etc. I chose this college over other because it was not too costly and crowd is less compared to other private universities.
