Course Curriculum Overview

I have taken CSE because it's very creative field and alse it's growing very fast . Faculty to student ratio is around 1:20 . Our faculty is experience and explains very well . And exam happens 4 times in single semester of 6 months.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fee hike in the college fee from past 5 years. There is 500 rs hike in hostel fee every year which is due to change in price of food items . Talking about stipend and other things so I am studying in first year so I didn't get any stipends from the college

Campus Life

The annual fest is gratus party which is basically freshers party which happens every year . And tech fest is called as IMALC which is brilliant. There is a huge library which have infinite books named tagore . Classroom are big and have AC inside them and along with charging points there is also projector in class. Sports equipment are available in sports arena . And there is a group CSI is which is managed by students which is a computer group

Hostel Facilities

I live is boys hostel of our university called as aryabhatta . In hostel attached washroom are available and also they have light lamps for study and rooms have bed , AC and study table . Food in mess is very tasty we get food 4 times a day . Any one can register for taking hostel during admission

Admission

Chitkara University consider competitive exams like CUCET , JEE Mains and other exam for admission purpose and also we need alteast 60 percent marks in class 12th . Admission form is available online at university site. there is no reservation available in college . It will be benificial for us if they make document verification much quicker.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi. I got a confirmed admission from many colleges like BML munjal university, GNA university, Chandigarh university, etc. I chose this college over other because it was not too costly and crowd is less compared to other private universities.
