Dislikes

- Charging money for every small things even though they take plenty in fees. They ll charge for fests, forgetting id card, convocation etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose B.tech CSE as I wanted to be a Software Developer. The course was overall well structured and the faculty was decent enough to deliver it on time. Exams were held every semester (March/November) And it was not hard to pass even if you are like me and study at the very end moments.
Internships Opportunities
I didnt do internship with college but worked at another engineering solutions firm where we basically worked on web development and made a website for a food blogging company. Stipend was 10000 per month for 3 months
Placement Experience
Students are eleigible for placements in 7th semester and before also for internships Plenty of companies like Amazon, Samsung, Palo Alto, CommVault came with 25 lpa+ packages and there wer many more around 8-16 lpa+. If you are good in coding and have built a strong resume, you are sure to be selected in 1 of the 2 categories. If not, then also there are a plethora of companies in the rnage from 4lpa-8lpa and Amity makes sure every student is placed as long as he/she is willing too. I got placed in a company offering a good package myself and I plan tocontinue working there for now.
Fees and Financial Aid
Amity has been known to have high fees as compared to its counterparts but there are scholarship programs for students who have consistently maintained good grades throught their course. In the 3rd year, we are supposed to do an internship as well which could be arranged by college placement cell or if you can find one yourself. I did one in summer break for 3 months with a stipend of 10k
Campus Life
To account for its high fee structure, Amity has a lively campus life to offer. With many events conducting from time to time it is a fun place to hangout between and after classes. Library is one of the best libraries I have ever seen and it has almost all academic related books available to issue. Annual sports events are also there for sports enthusiasts. And plenty of social clubs and grouos are there for your joining. Software engineerimg club was which I was part of and it conducted coding events and webinars frequently.
Admission
Admission process was plain and simple. If you pass the eligibility criteria, you can start with admission process without any entrance exams. Application form and all related information can be found on Amity's website.
