Civil engineering is the best course in PSG tech. The faculties are very good and they are well experienced in the industry. They provide good quality education with practical knowledge. Weekly they offer field visits, where the students can visit the sites and they interact with the engineers there and they will get to know about the practical experience. The teaching method will be too practical. Exams will be hard and it will be difficult to pass without the book and practical knowledge.

vanjielangovanL&T infotech and Essar Steels are offering internships. They are offering Internships and later if they are good at their projects, they will offer ME at IIT along with assured placement. They have provided 15k per month during the period of internship.

Once the students completed sixth semester, they are eligible for placement. all the top ranked companies are visiting for placement. TCS, CTS, Infosys, HCL, L&T, Wipro, Mindtree, Accenture, Capgemini, Mahindra & Mahindra, ABB Limited, Aditya Birla, Adobe systems, Shobha Developers, Essar Groups are major companies in Civil and IT that recruiting PSG tech students every year. Apart from that there are hundreds of companies that are visiting. They are making sure of 100% placement in every department. The highest payment is 10L per nnumand the average is 5L per annum.

The cost of study is high in management quota compared to other colleges. But we can assure for job and placement. Excellent placement training will be there. Scholarship is available for the needy and deserving students.

There are so many clubs including NSS, Tamil Mandram, Students Union, Rotaract Club, Literary Club, Dramatix Club, Tech Music, Youth Red Cross Society, and sports club. Much more might be available now. We can participate according to our interests. The library is very huge and you can find all types of books there. Books are always highly in demand. They give much importance to sports too.

The hostel looks like heaven. Wardens are so friendly if we are well disciplined. They have separate blocks for each year to avoid ragging. Lots of trees and birds make our mind peaceful. They have all the facilities including a cot and hot water. The electric stove and kettle are not allowed to be used in the room. They will change the menu month-wise and they have some coordinators to collect the student's interest. There will be a fest once in a year for hostlers.

There are two ways to join PSG Tech. Through Anna University Counseling, if we have a good cut-off mark. During counseling, two types of seats will be available. One has a government-sponsored seat and the government does not sponsor the other one. The difference between these two is the fees. The first one will cost around 25k per year whereas the other will cost around 55k. But the hostel fees are the same for all the students. PSG has its reserved seats called management seats. The fees are much more high compared to counseling seats. It costs around 1.25L and it varies every year and for each department. PSG is a good place to start your career as an engineer.
