Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is just like the one in IIT Bombay and IIT Kanpur, so the curriculum is really nice so far about the faculty members, faculty are really good here and help students with their personal projects too and there are also a few faculty that don't take it much seriously. All the faculties are Phd in the field of their subjects. 2 exams are conducted per semester and few subjects are really hard to pass. There are 4 exams total in one year.
Internships Opportunities
Spilz- Campus Ambassador, stipend-12000 per month Studlence- Marketing analyst, stipend- 6000/month Many more companies offered internships with a really good stipend but the exact information about it is not in my knowledge
Placement Experience
If you have a 4-year course students are eligible for placements in 7semester. A lot of companies visit here, last year over 100 companies visited the campus and the placement rate was 95%. The highest package received by a student was 51lakhs CTC offered by Microsoft. Average package was about 7lakhs-10 lakhs CTC. My plans after my degree are to get a job in some nice company and go out abroad for further studies
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure varies from course to course In my course it is Academic- 150000 INR Hostel and mess- 76000 INR Exam fee- 2000 INR There is financial assistance for the students who have UP domicile or the students who have SC/ST/OBC quota. These students have to fill out the form for the scholarship or the financial assistance and they get up to 60% off on the academic fees from the government of Uttar Pradesh.
Campus Life
The campus is spread over about 512 acres. It's a really great campus with a great infrastructure. The library on the campus is one of the biggest libraries in Asia and you get all types of books and the latest version of most of the books. All the classes have a really great seating system and all are air-conditioned. Classes have whiteboards for digital learning. There are so many opportunities for sports as there are university teams for every sport such as basketball, cricket, tennis, football etc and the most beautiful field to play for every sport. There are many clubs like dance clubs music clubs and event organising teams. Google Developers student club is also there in the university and a student council club too
Hostel Facilities
Each student gets a single seated room in a hostel, you get a book shelf a table, a chair, and one almirah. In summer students have to pay an extra 2500INR for using a cooler. Mess food is good, sometimes the quality is okayish but overall is really good. Hostels are really affordable here in the college and you have to fill out a few forms for the hostel allotment and eCh students get allotted respective rooms
Admission
There was an entrance exam named GBU-ET and applied for it and got AIR 51, the admission process is based on your AIR, and a counselling programme is conducted for admissions in the Gautam Buddha University Auditorium. There are also various reservations like SC, ST, OBCs etc. You can't get admission to a certain course if the seats are full.
