Campus is really good with lot of amenities for support
There are lot of highly qualified staff for the support
There are lots of extra curricular activities

Transportation facilities to college can be difficult sometimes
Hostel facilities is only available for first year boys
College is far away from city making it difficult to travel

Course Curriculum Overview

I decided to go for information technology since job opportunities are in plenty and also I like web development. There is no shortage of faculty as of now and are also very skilled in their respective fields.

Class Size: 27Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

College provides good internship opportunities for the students. Currently college is provided intership in web development intership and is scheduled to be started within next two-three months. Although this won't provide any stipend bit still will be a great experience

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is around 40,000 but students who fall under categories like like OEC do not have to pay any fees. Students under SC/ST/OEC/OBC can also get egrantz (scholarship) which is around 13500 for OEC students as of now

Campus Life

The campus is very good. We have many groups like IEDC, CSI, etc and also clubs like NSS, Nature Club etc. Yearly tech fest-Quasso Liberum is also conducted. We have good Library with ample availability of books along with an e-library

Admission

I got the admission through lateral entry examination and therefore entered the second year directly. LET can be applied if you have successfully completed 3 years of diploma or any equivalent degree. Admission is based on rank

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.
