The campus area us quite large allowing extra curricular activities
Staff members and faculties are very friendly and well behaved

Dislikes

Placements have been quite a problem for this college
Sports fests are not marked up to expectations

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum if the college course falls under the guidance of Vishweshwaraiyya Technological University.The faculties are very well qualified although most of them are from Karnataka only. The difficulty of exams has been a problem in recent times as per seniors

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 293000 per year

Placement Experience

The placements as per college has been one of the best performance in the city but according to seniors that's not quite the case. There is a wide line of difference in the placement claimed by college and in reality.

Fees and Financial Aid

The students are given scholarships based on their criteria. There are reservations for Karnataka students and most of the scholarships are for them only.But still there are few scholarships for outer states but only for SC and ST students.

Campus Life

The social and college life as a major problem here as the college being quite far away from the city centre. Sports arrangements are not as good as expected at the time of admission. Cricket ground is in construction for last 10 months.

Admission

My admission was done through COMEDK exam after round 3 councelling.There are a number of students who have taken admission through KCET as well as management quota also.There isn't any reservations for outer state candidates.

Good college with nice environment for studies

Placement Experience:

According to some seniors who graduated 6th sem students are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies including Infosys that visit our college every year . Nearly 80% of students get placement every year.

Remarks:

My senior friend suggested this college to me and their performance with CSE branch was good. Many students from the CSE department got place from this college. I wanted to tale CSE and this college seemed fine.

The college has to provide Traveling bus facilities for students and also drinking water facilities and toilet facilities and much more If they provide these facilities it will be helpful to upcoming students.

Admission:

I got admission on the basis of Karnataka common entrance test. The applicant must have passed their (10+2) examination in Science stream from a recognized Board like CBSE and scoring at least 50% marks with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

An excellent experience of studies

Remarks:

Our college, Government SKSJT Institute, is one of the oldest engineering colleges in the state of Karnataka. It has also celebratedo it's silver jubilee anniversary recently. It's a very good college with no ragging and no donations.

Ok but not up to the mark good education but less placements

Remarks:

Positives means they have good infrastructure and not too bad and teaching wise some what better and too strict. Negative means placement wise and support for sport is not great at all so they have to concentrate on this

The journey of the college is very good and also friendly environment

Remarks:

The college infrastructure is good and the college is giving good facilities. But the college is back in few conditions. But also, it is giving good transportation facilities. Very good environment for studying and good faculties. It has provided separate buildings for the different degree courses. The maintenance of the college is very good and very good campus.

It was good for mid class students there was never much money extraction from students by adding this books fee like that. lecturers for friendly still friends in facebook.

Acharya where the world comes to learn

U thought to do BSC agriculture... But I was rejected to get seat ... After that my interest was to do civil... So I applied for acharya institute, dayanand sagar, RV college, so many college I applied... But I thought acharya is best because college campus is like heaven... And placements rating is also good ... So I end up with this college lastly... Admission process means there are 3 ways to get admission on this college... 1 st way management seat.... Admission process went quite well. Completion of PUC without any drawbacks and a minimum score of 60% is required for a student to be eligible. Application form is available online in respective college website, we can also find application fees and application dates in the same. As of my experience, it would be good if addmission process is made bit simpler so that we can save lot of time by ignoring some unwanted procedure...Read More
