SMVDU and it's Truth

I chose this course because it is pretty interesting and challenging at the same time. You have to complete all your assignments, and design problems before the deadline and it is quite hectic. The faculty here is very friendly and hardworking. They give their best to teach us in every possible way. The student ratio in my class is 50:50. The faculty of architecture is well qualified with master's and PhD. There are three exams (Minor 1, Minor 2, Major exams) and one jury (only in architecture) in a semester.

The current fee for one year is 132000 (excluding annual fee), 20000 Hostel fee, and 21500 Mess fee. There is no placement in architecture. Students sent their portfolios to the firms on their own. The scholarship is given to the students entered through JEE main but for 3 sem only. There is another scholarship provided by the university in which 10% of students of the class have the highest grade among the class getting this scholarship. In this scholarship tuition fee of a semester is given back to students who got scholarship.

There are mainly two festivals that are celebrated at the University first one is Titiksha and the second one is Sarang (Sports festival) and many more small events like the Holi celebration, the Janmashtami celebration, Navratri Celebrations, etc. The library of the university is very good. There are numerous books available in almost all the courses present in the university. A digital library is also there. The classrooms of the university are also quite good. The smart projectors are installed in every class of each department. There are many clubs present there like Atlier for photography, Music Club, etc.

For architecture admission in Smvdu, Firstly you have to clear the Nata exam and then apply for the architecture course through the University site you can also get admission by clearing a JEE main paper 2. If you entered from JEE main paper 2 then you'll get a scholarship for 3 semesters.
