A review about my life experience in SRMIST chennai KTR campus

I had taken the course because i had not able to get into MBBS through NEET and henc my next choice was Btech in Biotechnology. The faculty student ratio in the Paticular department was for a particular year is for every 5 student there is one faculty that is 5:1. Qualification or basic qualification of teh faculty is Post graduate and maximum qualification is Post doctoral fellow.Term exams have been conducted very timely and result declaration was on time and very fair evaluation has been carried out

Students are eligible fo rsitting in placements form the 7 semester. Companies liek Accenture, TCS, iNfosys, Nuotanix, AMZON, Microsoft, Toyota, L&T, Bosch , COgnizant etc. Highest package during my colege time was 28Lks per annum amd lowest is 2.7lks per annumw ith avg og about 4-5lks per annum. about 40% of studnets get placed every year and the rest mpotly get off campus placed and many plan for higher studiens in India an dabroad too

The fee was around 1.02Lakh per year for years when the college was under VTU univesity but simnce no wiut has been deemed and its a university by itself it has raised the fee to about @lakh per year for 4 years. Scholarship is available on basis of 1) Merit -- More than 85% in 12 aggregate would give a 30% fee redemption for 4 yeras provided CGPA of 8.25 iis maintained. PWD scholarship- For studnet who avail PWD scholarsip yearly 20 thousand scholarshp is given Economic weaker section- Annual incoem Below 2.5-3Lakh wuld fetch 20,000 scholarship once in a year

Annual est is awesome with 3 day celeberation and all cultural and technical events with about more than 10 plus other colleges studnet scomming and visiting the colege to participate in them. Books and journals are available without anylack for all availabvle students. Classroom shave projector along with centralised AC and also didgital boards. Sports complex are availble both indoor and outdoor along with highly equipped sports stadium and high facilty GYmnasium. There are more than 10 socila clubs with events like for music dance qiuz coding hacking robotics aeronautic s etc

Hostel rooms are decent with all required facility with 2or 3 sharing attched and common bath rooms and also no AC rooms are available. Mees food is hygenic but qulity i sgood but average in taste . Hostels are highly affordable and easily available with good amount of rooms available for studnets and inmates in every academic year. PG or rented rooms are not that easily available because fo the remote location of teh colege/

Eligibility fo radmission was 60% aggregate in 12 Board exam and also the appliction was available in University portal itself . I had not availaed any reservation and hence no details regarding that is vailable and required improvement regarding the admission process would be that the prrocess hsould be fully made online and little faster, we had lot of delay in getting all info in the online portal
