Book Content of IGNOU course books are very good with example.
IGNOU fees is very less which make it affordable for students like any other private college take 10-15 lakh for MBA but in IGNOU I can complete my MBA in 62000 ruppes.
Classes Take place only on weekends . So, You can utilize your weekdays for other work like JOB, Internship or learning new skills.

Dislikes

Like I have listened from the student that IGNOU Delays the term end exam result.
And the delivery of course material is very late for few students.
Their is no sports facility and no annual fest.

As I Have intrest in finance form starting that is why I have selected this course. Student Faculty Ration is nice its similar like regular college. And their is different Faculty for different subject and they teach so well. All the faculty are PHD degree holder. Their teaching style is also good lke they teache in an interactive way which make us lear fast and we will remember that for long time as they teache with real life example. Term Exam are fixed and they take place in that month only. This one of the best thing of IGNOU that exam take place in the correct time

Fees and Financial Aid

I have just took admission in IGNOU so I don't rigth now their is no fees hike but in IGNOU fees hike took place once in 4-5 year. ANd IGNOU fees is very less every one can afford that is why IGNOU has hihest no. of students because they provide quality education in less fees. Their books contain so much good content. Don't know much about financial assistance and stipend as i just joint the university and its my 1st sem

Campus Life

Like IGNOU is an open university so it doesn't have a very happy college life because their only aim is to teach their is no anual fesr & tech fest . like Ignou doesnt have library but yeah the course books provided by IGNOU are the best for studying their content is so good. Each classrom has projector and AC and lab Has plenty amount of computers(Here I am talking about my study center it can differ in other study center). Ignou doesn't promote sports like they dont have ground and all but yeah their are few extra curricular activities like they condut few of the competion for example Essay writting, Hacathon, and they also conduct seminar so that student can lear new skills for free.

Admission

For MBA in Finance Managment you should have completed your graduation in BCom/BBA/BCA or Btech. The application Form is Avilable on the official website of IGNOU. The admission form for this course comes twice a year means admission take place twice a year in this course. And per sem fees is 15,500 ruppes.

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.

All about IGNOU

I applied only to this college because of its flexibility ( you can choose your exam centre anywhere in India), affordability and degree recognition, not because it was my dream college. I didn't applied to any other college. The eligibility for admission is based on minimun academic qualification like 10+2 for UG programs. Only some professional programs may have entrance exam but for general UG/PG none are needed. no competitive cut offs admission is fully online and transparent with minimal paperwork....Read More
