Course Curriculum Overview

The reason behind joining this course is that I think that this course is kinda unique. The faculty-student ratio is way too good We only have 50-55 students each semester and we have 9-10 faculty each sem for 7 subjects so it's kinda more than enough. Most of the faculties have done the UG & PG from IITs. Term exams are conducted at regular intervals of 4-5 months.

Internships Opportunities

we have semester long projects and industrial internships each semester. projects has to be done under some professor's guidance . Internship should be related to technical field only. YOu have to show work progress regularly.

Fees and Financial Aid

Till my Batch, the fee was 12000 per year but for the current batch, it has been raised to 40000 per year. Scholarships are provided based on the merits and financial conditions of the family of students. University provide many benefits based on that.

Campus Life

The annual technical fest being conducted here is CONVOKE. It is mostly conducted in the month of DEC, JAN, FEB. The study material is provided by teachers online on Google Classroom. All the classrooms are provided wifi and all the benches are provided electrical connections. There's a very few amount of sports and ECA.

Admission

CUET i.e. Central University ENtrance test is conducted for admission. After the exam student has to fill out online counselling at uod.du.ac.in College allotment is done on the basis of merit. CUET subjects that are needed are Maths, English and general ability.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Summary of IIT-D

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

Life at Cluster Innovation Centre

I chose this college over the other college I had applied for because of its unique course structure. The course structure of this college is multidisciplinary and includes both Information Technology and Mathematics. Also, the course is much economical as compared to other colleges and universities. The one thing which this college lack is the absence of placement cell of the college. I was not able to appear for JEE exams. So out of those colleges which offered the engineering course through CUET exam this was the best college I found. So, I took admission here. The admission procedure of the college includes filling up the form first after appearing in CUET exam. You can see the admission procedure in detail on site of delhi university. (du.ac.in). The stage 2 involves course selection. You fill your preferences of courses and colleges you want to apply in a sequence. Then a college is allotted to you based on your performance in CUET exam. I had applied for BHU university and several other private colleges in which I was able to get admission based on my CUET number. But I chose this one due to the reason stated before. The cutoff for the B.Tech coures goes around 540 for General students out of 650....Read More
