Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I wanted to do my bachelors in cse only so i preferred branch over campus and took cse+da here in east campus rather than taking any lower branch in main campus. Faculties are good(only if u pay attention in the class). They do teach..but u will have to study everyday in order to cope up with them.

Internships Opportunities

3

Intership are offered in 3rd year. You should have great command over dsa for teach placement and also you should be doung other things as well...like only dsa is not sufficient...this will get your first round cleared..but to clear other rounds...you need to pick some other tech stack as well.

Placement Experience

3.5

Stidents are eligible for placements in 4th year...whereas for internship it is 3rd year. Lot of big companies visit nsut....and the only sign of relief is that, at least during placements every other campus students have to visit main campus only...placement takes place in main campus. I'd also sit for the placements only after my 3rd year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is too much. Considering the fact that we are east campus are we are not getting the infrastructure same as main campus then our fees should have been lesser. Every year there is a 10%fees hike. And you are paying this high fees for a college that doesn't even look like a college...even our school used to be bigger than this!! ...it is situated beside a dump yard...so that right in the morning you can freshen up your mood!.. I'd say, either the fee should be lessen or we should also get the same infra as the main campus!!.

Campus Life

2.5

Life at east campus is pretty boring I'd say...for any fest or event you need to travel to the main campus ..every time....there are societies in the east campus too..but its dead..... Library is decent...though it is small..but you can get books here...you can also issue the books...or borrow the books from book bank... Sports enthusiasts are there in the college..but college takes no effort to support the students...there is basketball volleyball football (ground is very poor) an open gym...

Admission

For getting admission here you need to give jee mains...then fill jac counselling form...after that you will get the choice filling form....in jac u can fill branches of igdtuw, dtu, nsut, iiitd, dseu. Cutoff is different for different branches caste wise..and 85% seats are resetved for delhi students...so even if you rank is little poor...u still can get better branch as compared to outside delhi students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
