Course Curriculum Overview

All faculty is good and very calm. All lectures take regularly and faculty also take lectures regularly. All courses are under the GTU so gtu provides a syllabus of all courses and faculty follow up on the syllabus

I am not a final year student but as my senior friends told me those companies arrived for the placement their companies also gave me a chance to intern in the company for the first six months as a training.

Placement Experience

In the Information Technology department, many companies are arriving for the students and also placing students from the campus. This year 50 companies are arriving and around 125 students are placed. Last year around 97 companies arrived.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is 1500 but some other external fee is 600-700 like gym fee, library fee, locker fee, laboratory fee, and internal exam fee. So the total fee is between 2000 to 2500. Mysy and Digital Gujarat is applicable on the fees

Campus Life

The campus is very huge but not so well. Some of the buildings are in very bad condition. Some of the buildings are very new like information technology and electronic communication building. And other 1-2 buildings are also new. Libary is up to the mark have lots of books related to course.

Hostel Facilities

I am not a hostel person but I know some about hostel. Hostel fee is around 1500 and total 3 building in the hostel but 2 buildings are very old so it's close and one building is available but no facility available like canteen or etc.

Hostel Fee: INR 1000 per year

Admission

You want to apply for addmission through acpc and after getting admission to the college you want to visit offline at college and confirmed addmission. ACPC fee is also normally charged and acpc fees are added to the college fee so one type of acpc is free

Placement Experience:

the placement at vgec at decent, especially considering it is a government college with very low fees. student become eligible for campus placement from the 6 th and the main placement drives begin in the 7 th and 8 th semesters. many well known compnies visit the camppus every tear for software , core engineering and management roles. compnies like TCS, infosys, wipro , taat consultancy, adani, gsfc,and a few stertup hire students from different branches. the number of offers varies every year , but the overall trend is improving . some companies offer multiple job roles such as software engineer , QA engineering , embendede engineering , trainee engineering and analyst position . higher pacage is 5 lacks. after completing my degree , i plan to focus on improving my technical skills .

Decent college with room to grow

Placement Experience:

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester.The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree,wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also,beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects,they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.
