Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

There are several reasons which include a desire to help others, a passion for science and healthcare, the opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives, and the potential for a rewarding and fulfilling career. Additionally, the medical field offers continuous learning and growth opportunities. 10-15 faculty for 150 students Most of them are MD and PhD Every 2nd month Yes it's difficult to pass

Internships Opportunities

0.5

We have to do internship in our campus only and we are not paid for this even a penny. It's like a slavery I must say. And the audacity these people have is that they show national medical council that they pay there interns.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike policy can vary depending on the college and location. The cost of studying medicine is influenced by factors such as college selection, whether studying in India or abroad, and the budget of the college.

Campus Life

2.5

Annual fest is conducted in September There is no tech fest Medical books are kept in library but we are not allowed to issue any. Only reserved category students can do so. Sports day and culturak festivals are celebrated in our campu. SSIMSnRC Instagram page is there and many more

Admission

To get admission to a medical college in India, you typically need to meet the following requirements: 1. Complete 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects. 2. Score well in entrance exams like NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). 3. Meet the minimum cutoff marks set by the respective medical colleges. 4. Fulfill any additional criteria set by the college, such as age limits or state-specific requirements. From official website of nmc The reservation policies in NEET differ among states in India. Each state government determines the specific reservation criteria, such as reserved seats for different categories like SC/ST/OBC. No it was quite useful

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
