Course Curriculum Overview
I chose civil engineering because I had an interest in it. The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:50, that is for each class there are about 50 students. Not sure about the qualifications of the teachers but most do not teach well. They just show you a ppt and read it. Some teachers teach really well though. All exams are conducted as planned and passing the exams isn't hard.
Internships Opportunities
3rd year and final-year students have the opportunity to do an internship in some company from the college. I am not sure of the projects because I'm just a fresher and haven't had the chance to do an internship.
Placement Experience
The campus placements are very good and the college is most famous for its placements. Almost all students in the college get placed. The highest package was above 2cr and many well-known companies came to the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is pretty fair by the standards of private colleges but the fees other than category are expensive. I have heard that the toppers of board exams and the top scorers of the entrance exam are given scholarships.
Campus Life
There is an annual fest called reviera that is conducted in January and the tech fest gravitas is conducted in August. The library has many books and almost any academic you need is available. Almost all sports facilities are available in the camp as well as in the hostels.
Admission
We had to register for an entrance exam called VITEEE. You can find the application form on the official website of Vit. For the btech entrance exam, we have math, physics, chemistry, English, and aptitude. The results are published in the form of ranks and marks are not announced.
