I like the placements at VASAVI COLLEGE ENGINEERING.
Faculty is very very very good. They are very friendly.
Girls in Vasavi contribute significantly to the vibrant campus life.

Dislikes

There is no ragging in our college. I miss the fun it could have brought.
There are very few fests in VASAVI. But the fests which are conducted will be conducted very grand.
Limited sports time. Even we though have sports period, seniors wont give us a chance to play

My class has a 25:40 gender ratio. And every subject has at least 2 faculty for each class. Every faculty holds a Ph.D. and they are very friendly. Exams are as usual in every college. And every paper has its own standards. The one who studies can write it easily.

Vasavi College offers diverse internship opportunities, collaborating with top companies allowing students to gain real-world experience and enhance their skills. Pakka is better than a few National Institutes (NITs).

Placement Experience

Placements are good as far as. Top companies visit annually. Graduates secure lucrative job offers in diverse fields, showcasing the institution's commitment to fostering career success. The average package for CSE and IT is 9.65 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees in my college are 1.4lakh per annum. We do have many scholarships in our college. If any student from Telangana joins this college through EAMCET counseling and if they get a rank less than 10k, then they'll get full fee reimbursement by Telangana Govt.

Campus Life

There are many clubs in our college as a dancing club, music club, photography club, film making club, etc. There are many different types of books available in our library. Even we have a digital library.

Hostel Facilities

There is no college hostel in our college. We need to stay in private hostels or PGs. There are many hostels near the college in a radius of 3km only. The food in the hostel depends on the hostel management. Even the college has a canteen where we get all the things.

Hostel Fee: INR 95000 per year

Admission

VASAVI is one of the top EAMCET colleges in Telangana. Any student having at least 75% in his board exams can enter this college either through EAMCET rank or through B-Category (through JEE Mains rank). I got into this college through EAMCET rank.

Life at RIshi

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from year 4. The companies that usually visit are TCS, Capgemini and MMC etc. The college supports students by providing both technical and non technical jobs and any other uncoventinal career support upon request. Students aspiring to pursue education abroad are also provided with guidance and support.

Good college to join for study

Placement Experience:

So coming to placements they will provide good no. of placements if we have skills and keen of intrest to learn new things and grab oppurtunities. Also our colleg has NACC and NBA accredation there will be more companies approaching our college and taking students for placements and trainging. TP CELL will give its 100% in placements pushes students forward for various trainings and placements. Basically placement starts froms 3-2 mostly form 4-1 where students go to attend interviews and attend exams. companies like Infosys, Wypro, My schools, Infotech, and many MNC's. every year almost 150-200 students will be selected for placements. average package will be 3.0 - 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7.5LPA . their package is decided by companies according to the role they applied and thier level of skill. 45- 50% of the students will be selected for the placements. My plans after getting the degree: If i got selected in placement its well and good i will proceed further with the placement i got incase if didnt get placed i will try of the jobs and then shortly start a business.

Rishi Campus :- Worth a try

Placement Experience:

Our college has good placement opportunities. We are eligible for campus placements since 3-2 or 4-1. The highest package offered is 14 lakhs and the average package is 4 to 5 lakhs. 85 to 90% students get placements and others are also provided with other opportunities. We have got NAAC and NBA accreditations so we have more scope for placements now. I plan on getting a job and continue my MS.

My college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very particular in choosing my course ie- computer science engineering. My aim is to become a software engineer, so I was very passionate about the course since my 10th. I find this course is very good but the point is it focuses on all the areas, but for an engineer the main point is computer courses. If this part is focused more then it will be useful.

since vasavi college one of top 5 college is our state, i preferd it and it have an good avg package in my branch comparing it other colleges. i compare my colleage with other in terms if infa structure, support,and our college is transpernet in terms of placement and admissions . and our college wont allowing nri cota so its an merit based college. so in our college students can acuire seat by 2 ways .one is by geting good rank like below 10k in tsemcet or else getting good rank in jee mains. so they will be spot adidmissions also based on jee ranks at end of admisssion. so i got for kmit - csm before getting admission in this college. since vasavi have good infra and palcements i prefered it. yes i got rejections form vnr college. since my rank is little higer than the cut off i got rejected....Read More
