The course curriculum is great. I chose this course because I'm interested in basic mechanical engineering. The faculty members are highly qualified and the faculty: student ratio is good. The teaching methods are effective and exams are timely. It's challenging but doable.

NITW offers a wide range of internship opportunities with reputed companies. Some of the companies that visit for internships include Google, Microsoft, and Tata Motors. The roles offered vary across different domains like software development, research, and engineering. The internships usually come with a stipend, which depends on the company and the duration of the internship. As for the projects and outcomes, it varies from internship to internship. Students get a chance to work on real-world tasks and gain practical experience in their respective fields.

Campus placements at NITW are great. Students become eligible from the 7th semester onwards. Companies like Google, Microsoft, and Tata Motors visit the campus and make a good number of offers. The highest package offered can go up to INR 40 lakhs per annum, while the average package ranges from INR 10-15 lakhs per annum, depending on the company and profile. The percentage of students getting placed is quite high. As for my plans after getting the degree, I'm considering pursuing higher studies or exploring job opportunities in the industry.

The fee structure at NITW can vary depending on the program you're enrolled in. As for scholarships, financial assistance, and campus jobs, NITW offers various opportunities like the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship, Institute Merit Scholarship, and the Work-Study Program. These programs provide financial aid and on-campus job opportunities with stipends.

Life at the NITW campus is amazing, We have an annual fest called "SpringSpree" in February and a tech fest called "Technozion" in September. The library is well-stocked with a wide range of books and journals. The classrooms are equipped with modern amenities. We have a variety of sports and extracurricular activities to participate in. There are social groups, clubs, and a student-run website called "Campus Connect" for students to engage and connect with each other. It's a vibrant and lively campus.

The hostel facilities at NITW are pretty good. Each room is equipped with basic amenities like a bed, study table, and cupboard. As for the meals, the quality is decent and the menu offers a variety of options. The registration process for the hostel is straightforward, and the affordability is reasonable. If you're looking for rented accommodation in the locality, there are plenty of options available near the campus.

The admission process at NITW was quite competitive. I had to take an entrance exam and meet the cutoff marks to get in. It was a bit challenging but worth it. An application form is online from the Smile portal.
