Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it was the only course I could get with my rank in this college. Student to teacher ratio is about 50:1 Most of the teachers are PhD scholars and some are post doc. The exams were alright.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are good. You can get them from the first year itself. M.tech students are given 15000 stipend monthly. Software engineer and analyst management roles are offered during internship. Companies also provide PPOs to some students

Placement Experience

The student becomes eligible for placements for 6 semesters. Around 250 companies visited the campus and 1500 offers were made. The average package is 15LPA and the highest was 88LPA (domestic). The percentage of students placed is around 85.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is around 2 lakh 25 thousand per year including room rent and mess charges. Placements are pretty good. Most of the big MNCs visit this college. The average package is around 15LPA. But core students are not allowed to sit for all companies

Campus Life

Technozia is the annual fest and is conducted in December every year. NITW has the largest library among all NITs with a book collection of more than 1 lakhs. Classes are alright. Cricket, Football, and Badminton playgrounds are there.

Hostel Facilities

Room is double occupancy for first year. It is little small but manageable. Bed, table and chair is provided. Mess food is alright for first year. It cost 1750 for 15 days. Registration is through the college website.

Hostel Fee: INR 45000 per year

Admission

The student has to pass class 12 with a minimum of 75%. Entrance Exam JEE MAIN rank is needed Students need to clear the cutoff to get admission to a reputed NIT. Admission takes place through JOSAA counselling after JEE MAINS.

Coming to the placements our college will be in the first place . Because we will get over 20- 30 for internships and 200-400 for full time companies . So I would give it a 5 star rating for that. The highest pack is 55 lakh and the avg is 8 lakh . I want to get places in a good tech company. From 3 rd semester students can be available to sit in the placements

My Review My Perspective

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is good and mostly useful. The main reason I chose this course is because the subjects were interesting to me. We have two mid-term 30 Marks Each exam and one final exam 60 Marks in every semester. There are internal assignments and lab exams also. The exams are not very hard, but you need to study regularly. Most students pass if they prepare properly.
