The campus nature is so amazing and the rainy weather is just feels like heaven.
Many events happens between the fest which makes you feels good and gives you a college vibe

Sometime the mess food is to boring and some of the prof Are also boring you litterally feel dizzy after completing their lactures

Course Curriculum Overview

I like this course thats why I have joined it. The faculty is very supportive and has a good ratio. Faculty members have various qualification medals and achievements in their respective fields. There are two main exams one is mid-semester and the other is the end semester. Mid-sem is easy to score but end sem is quite difficult to score good .there are 4 quizzes between the end sem.Try to score as much as possible in quizzes and lab experiments. and try to maintain at least 7.5 cpi for good placement

The students are eligible for the internship in their third year and for the placement they apply for the last third year they are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies like microsoft Google Amazon Flipkart Zomato. The highest package on the campus is 2cr and the average package is 25 lacs. After completing the degree I would like to open my own business.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for one one-year btech course is 2.5 lacks for general and obc student. There are many scholarship options like MCM AND NSP there is an option of education loans which helps those who are unable to pay the college fees. There are many scholarships for sc st and girls like the laptop scheme. and many more

Campus Life

The annual fest is Alcheringa and help from February 2 to 5 which is the most popular north Indian fest .and there is one technical fest named Techniche held in September which is also very exiting and there are Bollywood nights DJ nights comedy shows. In the hostel, there is also a library and a central library where you can find every book. there are likely every sport on the campus and many clubs like electronic, robotics music, dance, and art club.

Admission

The admission process is very exciting. There are no entrance exams as you enter The college the senior helps you by providing the map of the campus and then you have to go to the Conference centre for Document verification and Biometric processing at the end of your hostel and room no. Are assign.

Placement Experience:

The college placement aren't much in our college because our college is too deep inside the area it's like a village area companies find it difficult to come here. Companies mostly come for chemical and mechanical engineering students to hire them. For electrical and civil you have to apply off campus. I don't know the highest package from our college but the recent package that was offered by mahindra to mechanical engineering students was 19000 per month. Atleast 35% students get on campus placement. My plan after degree is to pursue mtech or maybe BFA in Seoul, South Korea or maybe find a job outside india

Placement Experience:

The placement of this university is not upto the mark. The highest package recieved by a student was 37 LPA. He was an ECE student. The average LPA is around 6-7 LPA. I think it's a bit low compared to NITs/IITs. But compared to other central and state universities its quite good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is btech and since it is an IIT the faculty are the best in their fields profs here have done PhD from Stanfords of the world and the prof-student ratio is very healthy. Although there are a lot of exams in the ballpark weekly one or the other exam will be there and the exams are very tough but grading is relative.

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for internship placement in the 5th semester and for the full time, you're eligible for campus placement in the 7th semester. 223 offers were made for 22 pass out students. Some of the companies that visited our campus are Amazon Deloitte ZS Associates Tekion Mindtickle Gamescraft. The highest package was 61.5 lakhs and the average package was 15.34 lakhs. 95.12 per cent of students got placed. My plan after college is to work as a software developer.

A glimpse of IIT Guwahati

For admission in this course you have to clear IIT JAM exam and secure a good rank under 100 of you are a general candidate. You can easily find the application details on Google. There are reservation benifits to avail which you can check on the website. A worth-reading review, for sure

The admission into all IITs will be through JEE ADVANCED exam. I was able to clear JEE MAIN exam with a good rank of AIR 1082 . Thus I got eligible to sit in JEE ADVANCED and cleared it with a decent rank of AIR 5152. The application process and alotment will be through JOSAA portal. I applied for all the top IITs (only for CSE & MNC as per my interest) and I'm a female OBC candidate(OBC RANK: 1002). So I got alotted MNC in IIT GUWAHATI . The cutoff in our year is around 1200 in OBC female category. JOSAA counselling portal takes fees of 3000 only and we give our order of preference in IITs , NITs and IIITs as per our interest and we will be alotted a seat as per our rank....Read More
