Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties are good and helpful. Current 2nd-year students have three semesters and 3rd year is online as of now and you have assignments every week, exams are on the harder side, most of the faculties are doing their Ph.D. from VIT Bhopal itself and are into part-time teaching.

Class Size: 85Course Fees: INR 201000 per year

Placement Experience

Currently, there are 1500 students for placement and 30 % of them are placed with the highest package of 52 LPA and an average range of around 5-6 LPA. Placement season begins after the end of 3rd year. Mass recruiter the majority of students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 201000. No scholarships are provided from the college side but you can opt for other scholarships, as of now placement season is going on and the majority of the students are not placed and the average is around 5 LPA with the highest package of 52 LPA, internship opportunities are less and only a few gets an internship. All these details are given by students who are currently in their final year.

Campus Life

There are plenty of clubs present in college and you daily one or another event takes place and for all the events you have to pay. The library is not that large and it is hard to get preferred books as they are issued by the students as the number of books is less.

Admission

I was admitted to VIT Bhopal through the VITEEE exam fees for the exam are approx. 2000 rupees. For CAT 1 in Bhopal, your rank should be less Than 35k. Usually, the exam happens in the month of April, and management needs to improve a lot.

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

Placement Experience:

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
