Course Curriculum Overview

I have choose computer science and and engineering because I like to do code. In vit Bhopal there is huge crowd and mainly in cse and it's specialisation branch. Ration between faculty and students is 1:80. All the faculty are huge educated mainly from IIT and all have done PhD all faculty mostly have done doctorate. In vit if you have study almost 2-2.5 hrs daily then it is enough you to maintain good grade in simple word consistency. Exam is not too though if you hear your faculty then you will absolutely get good garde and cgpa

Student are eligible to sit in placement after 6 th semester. There are almost 800 companies including top MNC visit to our college. There are many companies which not give offers easily to students like Volvo, grab , Microsoft, Google

We all know if we are going to join any private colleges then you have to absolutely stable by your financial and in vit there is no scholarship system if you have AIR 1 rank in VITEEE and if you are cbse /icse and any topper in all India basis then only you can get scholarship

Annual Fest: "Riviera" Tech Fest: "Technex" held at college Month: Typically held in February or March. The library offers a wide range of books and journals covering various subjects. Access to digital resources and online databases is available. Well-equipped classrooms with modern teaching aids. Audio-visual facilities for effective learning. Various sports facilities ,including a sports complex.

Admission

Admission is through by given VITEEE exam and after the declaration of result you will get your college choice means all 4 campuses of vit Chennai, Vellore, Amravati and Bhopal campus. And if you don't have good rank in VITEEE then you have to pay more fees there is category wise system in VIT

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
