Likes

i like the food courts (fcs) there are 2 fcs and other mini stores available to snack your way around.
my college library has many resources i can make use of it for every assignments of mine.
there are many plants and trees in and around the campus which is not only ornamental but also useful.

Dislikes

restroom’s could have been better and wider.
the traffic all the vehicles been causing out and inside the campus.
some dressing norms that’s causing distress to girls.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had been wanting to pursue my course (psychology) since grade 10 and so did I choose this course. the faculty-student ratio so far is good. term exams (ca and ce- both internals and semesters) have been timely as well. it was quite difficult not gonna lie, but efforts put you in a good place.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 6100 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

All the aided courses cost you less than the unaided courses since the government aids over half of the fees for the aided students. it was 6100rs for me (an aided student) but the students of self-financing (unaided) are to be paid an average of 45000 rupees.

Campus Life

All the aided departments have this culture called "wizards" which would be competitive among all the departments. there would also be Manavar mandram's inauguration for SF and aided individually. and for the amenities part, there are fans lights also smart boards inside the class. there are also many clubs to join to broaden your perspective.

Admission

biology was my mainstream in higher secondary school. I found the application form with the help of the official psgcas website in Google Chrome. I paid 250rs as an application for one single course. I applied for 8 courses including both self-financing (unaided) and aided.

Good Learning Environment But need more Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose bsc computer science because I'm interested in IT jobs and want become a developer. The syllabus is useful for real world learning and it covers important basics. i found subjects like c programming very helpful for understanding core concepts. the curriculum is decent but it needs more practical sessions and better lab facilities. the software and systems in the lab should also be updated. we follow a semester system, and the exams test both theory and practical knowledge. overall the course is good, but more hands on training would make it even better.

The psg college of arts and science is a prestigious college in tamilnadu and every student has a dream of studying in our college because the merit system makes it more likable for students as there are two types of applications one is aided and another one is self finance the aided structure made me to chose this college over other colleges .
