Course Curriculum Overview
I am interested in a political science course. At the University of Hyderabad, the Political science faculty is top-notch among all social sciences. Qualification of faculty is PhD level from top prestigious Universities. Mostly we have 3 minors (20 marks ) and the best of 2 will be considered for the semester exam (40) and the semester exam is for 60 marks.
Placement Experience
For Political science and other social sciences after graduation, you can apply to foreign Universities and you can proceed with your journey in Public policy. Otherwise, you can do PhD and can do research and go for the teaching profession.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of study at the University of Hyderabad is relatively lower than other Universities. The fee for 1 year (2 semesters) is approx. 10k to 12k. Mess fees are also low and affordable. Scholarships like DAG Will be provided and a lot of private Scholarships and internships also be available.
Campus Life
University campus life is adorable. There are a lot of clubs and organizations to participate in. There is the INML library which is one of India's largest. The classroom and hostel ambiance is decent enough and we have badminton and table tennis indoor stadiums and grounds with extraordinary sports equipment. Hcu facilitates a Gym and Yoga center too.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are OK not too good and not too bad we can rate them 6/10. In UoH hostel is given to everyone, no worries about that. Rooms are 2 sharing In the hostel we get 2 beds, tables and cupboards. When it comes to mess , we can't expect home food taste here. The registration process for a hostel is soon after your admission.
Admission
CUET is the entrance test for all Central Universities in India including the University of Hyderabad. The CUET Exam consists of domain courses, English, and General Test exams. The University of Hyderabad is considering General Test for IMA Courses and Domain courses for IMSC courses. Reservation benefits are there for ST, SC, OBC, and EWS categories. For Social sciences courses cutoff varies from 99 percentile to 92 percentile.
