Entrance Preview

I got 188.25 cut off in 12 th exam. I was very anxious about the college location. So I chose this college due to infrastructure and location.

Placement Experience

Placements 50% okay with them. But compare to other colleges they have to improve the placement skills.

College Events

Have to say about cultural events means it's awesome. Mostly they conduct national level symposium and department events. I had been through lot of cultural and international conference.

Fee is expensive compare to allifated colleges.

Medium range hostels and put I would probably give 3 out of 5.

Same as what Anna university provided. Now they got autonomous so I don't know about the structure they having now.

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
