Course Curriculum Overview

I have choosen the ENTC branch. I was interested in learning new things in the Electronics field. Our college there is 120 seat capacity. The teachers are well-advanced. in 3 months span there is a sem with is averagely difficult.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

The placements in our college are good more than 90% of students have gotten there placements from our college. The highest Package in our college is 30lakhs and the average package is 2.5lakhs. My plans after completing my degree are to get the job

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fee Structure in our college is 120000 per year which I think is the average for the students to pay. There are scholarships like EBC which the government helps us a lot. yet I haven't got any job

Campus Life

Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur is the best college as per the academics but they also conduct some events for the students to get entangled. The college has the best library and also got an award for the best library of the college. There are many activities like sports, culture etc

Hostel Facilities

There are many facilities like a room with a bed, a ceiling fan, a toilet etc. And the hostel meal is good but not as good as our home food. The registration process for a hostel is also affordable. our hostel is near our college

Hostel Fee: INR 28000 per year

Admission

I took the entrance exam of MHT-CET. The admission process was through the cap rounds of MHT-CET portals. The process was to use to use. No difficulty came across. There are no such improvements to be needed in the admission process

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
