Likes

College campus is large and we can enjoy.
The campus is very green. It includes trees.
Tress and gardens are included in the college.

Dislikes

The college needs to include dust bins at some places
The parking place for vehicles doesn't have shed
The tennis court is still not built which was started a year ago.

Course Curriculum Overview

The main reason why I chose BTech in computer science and engineering is because I have been guided by my elder brother who is an Software engineer himself. He guided me about the rise of IT sector in every part of the world. Faculty student ratio is 1:60 The teaching methods of my college professors is best.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities in this college are pretty good compared to other colleges in the city. The training for internship is good and helpful for students. The stipend offers may vary from 2000 to 10000.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students become eligible for placements. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Bajaj, cognizant, persistent, Bosh, etc have visited. About 75-85% students are placed. After Btech I'm doing masters from a reputed colleges like iit and nit.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for a computer science student in my college is feasible. There are also many government education schemes like EBC, OBC forms by which the fees will get lower. The students will get scholarship.

Campus Life

Annual fest is "Atharva" which is a freshers party. All kind of educational books are available in the central library. Classrooms are good and clean. Sports like table tennis, volleyball, basketball , football, cricket, chess are available in the campus.

Admission

The eligibility for the course is MHT CET score higher than 90 percentile. The admission process was easy. We can find the application form from the college office. The professors of the college helped me during my admission process.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
