Course Curriculum Overview
We have a fully flexible system. We can choose our class timings and faculties. the course is really good with well equipped labs. the faculties here are very good at teaching and have a lot of research papers published. they have a lot of ongoing projects.
Internships Opportunities
I did a one-month internship at Medopharm Private Limited in the department of research and development, quality assurance and quality control. Currently, I am doing a project under a faculty and I have done lots of review articles
Placement Experience
The placements are excellent. it shows 95% placement every year. And the packages are also high. Companies like Biocon, Hindustan Unilever, HCL, Bosch, L & T Construction, and Infosys come for placements. My plan after the degree is to pursue higher studies
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure differs with category and the course. but if you get 10 cgpa in your first semester then you get a 100% scholaship. students from government schools can apply for scholarship exams. The first category is usually 1.7 laks per year and it increases to 5 lakhs per annum
Campus Life
the campus is huge and there are students from all parts of the world. there are lots of clubs and technical and cultural fests happening throughout the year. lots of workshops and guest lectures happen so it is a very lively campus. the hostels are amazing. the library is the best part of the campus it gives a very good space to study. the campus is filled with trees and is very nature-friendly. All classrooms have projectors and it is well eqipped. all buildings have a minimum of 3 auditoriums.
Admission
The admission process for VIT is, it has an entrance exam called VITEE. The top 100 students are given a full 100% scholarship. The other students are separated into 6 categories. The first 10,000 fall in the first category. the fees increase as the category increases. First Vellore campus gets filled followed by Chennai, Amaravati and finally Bhopal.
