Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose the Bcom degree to do my master's to get jobs in banks etc. The faculty were good and their teaching skill was better for me. The term/sem exams were quite a long period because the government of BCU like 6 to 8 months a sem to complete, and compared to another university it is a little slow. Exams and questions are quite easy and in the same slight difficult but passing is not even a matter.

Internships Opportunities

4

I got to know about the internships from the seniors, they said they would provide Internships. Students are selected for internships according to their talents and skills. They offer more roles and a number of job opportunities.

Placement Experience

5

From the 3rd year onwards students are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visited and offers are made some of them are: Infosys, ITC, Amazon, Apple, and many more. The starting package of the companies is from 2.5lakh pa 70%students are getting placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is quite high but it's affordable. We can pay the fees in installments. There are a couple of Scholarships available. To avail of the scholarship we have to submit the details. Campus interview is there and several jobs are available.

Campus Life

5

Sirisambrama is the 1st event of the year, which is participated by each class in the college, they have to showcase their cultures according to their given topics. Then college fest which will be participating the other colleges, events like sports, cultures individual games, etc. There are many clubs more than 50+ clubs in the college one can be a member of more than one club.

Admission

1st we have to fill out the application form to be admitted after filling that they'll select. After they select they'll call for an interview and after the interview, they'll tell about the fee structure and the courses offered by the college. Then we have to pay a certain amount to reserve the seats or to confirm the seat.

Other Applied Colleges

The placement cell in my college is okay they do get few good companies for campus recruitment and they guide us thoroughly how and when we should apply for placement they do conduct some sessions and bring people to guide us with everything. The percentage of students getting placement is 50 or 60 percentage. My plan after degree is to continue pursuing acca and then finding a job abroad

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. Our college has a dedicated placement department that really guides and supports us through the whole process. Big companies like Deloitte and KPMG visit the campus every year, and since I’m doing B.Com + ACCA, there are plenty of great opportunities in finance and accounting. Last year, around 8 students from the B.Com batch got placed in finance roles. The average package was about ?6 LPA. The best part is that placements keep getting better every year, and the college has maintained a 100% placement record. They’ve even tied up with foreign companies, which opens up more global opportunities for us. After completing my degree, I plan to build a strong career in finance—hopefully starting with a reputed company like Deloitte or KPMG—and later explore opportunities abroad.

Placement Experience:

The college offers placement through the COC (Career Opportunities) cell. Students become eligible for placements by the 5th Semester. The companies which come to hire include the Big 4s, (KPMG, Delloite, EY and BCG), Fedral Bank,TCS, etc. Almost 70% of students opt for higher eduaction so the less number of students get placed at the UG level at least. I am personally figuring out which path to choose but I have placement in mind at the end of the degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course is the ACCA along with Bcom. Most importantly the 9 paper exemptions provided that gives flexibility in the context of studying. The curriculum is well corporate and real world oriented. They prepare us on how to face the real corporate world through their curriculum by conducting different seminars and workshops.
