Course Curriculum Overview

3

Honestly I joined this college after my friend's reference and there is not kuch real world applications that they focus on its more about book education They make you book smart and not street smart The teaching with regards to education with syllabus is good but campus or events which help in real world is so less The timings for exam is sufficient and fine

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is 70000 and can vary with different profession you choose As in For my profession it is 67500 which is for bcom with digital marketing And for bcom professional it is 72000 And the fees are not increasing as of now But for juniors the fees has been increased with difference of 2000k or more There are scholarship available for students who have scored above 80 there is 2000rs discount in the fees for admission fees in 1st year only And above 95 there is 5000rs discount in the fees of 1st year only

Campus Life

2

The campus life is not that fun as they lack in focusing on events and fests for students They did not do freshers day for us The library is good with books and journals The sports area is not much concentrated The technology has to improve The clubs is not that helpful except rotary Club

Admission

I had applied for chirst college but could not make it for personal interview as I was sick And I joined this college firstly because of the admission fees which quite affordable compared to Christ or Joseph college The admission process for 1st year is through cheque and later can pay through online or with DD THERE WAS NO EXAM AS I HAD SCORED ABOVE 85% IN MY 12TH , SO I WAS DIRECTLY ELIGIBLE FOR PERSONAL INTERVIEW IF YOUR PERCENTAGE IN 12TH IS BELOW 80? THEN YOU ARE REQUIRED TO GIVE ENTRANCE EXAM WHICH IS OF MCQ'S AND IS EASY ENOUGH TO PASS

Faculty

3

The faculty are friendly enough to approach and clarify doubts with subject matter or personal issues too There is separate faculty available for your personal issues or with problem that you cannot share with family or friends and will help you with overcoming it There is total two internals and 1 preparatory and 1 semester exam for each semester The internals and preparatory helps student to pass the semester exams with ease

Interview Experience

3

No I did not write any test rounds because I was eligible for direct personal interview as I scored 85% in my 12th So the questions asked for my interview was three 1.Golden rule about accounting 2.Types of accounts 3.Why did you choose SSMRV COLLEGE

Night Life

3

There is only canteen and ground to hangout Not much places to hangout The canteen needs to upgrade for good and the food too The hostel life is fine at its best Campus timings is actually too long as graduates its same as the school to be honestly It starts from 9 45 to 3 45 There is famous places for hangout in college The gym is available but have to pay separately for it apart from the college fees and not many people go to gym as the timings do not match with the class lectures

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice
