Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course as the placement of the Computer Science and Engineering branch is very good with an average of 27.9LPA package for the current year. Student to teacher ratio is good generally a class of 100 students is there. Faculties generally have degrees in Ph.D. and faculties are very good they teach well. In one semester there are 2 exams (midsem and end sem).

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship opportunities are available for students in 3rd year and nearly 200 students are selected for internships with a good pay every year. Most big companies visit your college for internship opportunities like Microsoft, Uber, Oracle, Cisco, etc. Highest stipend 1.5 lakh. and average stipend of 80000.

Placement Experience

5

Placements of this college are one of the best among NITs. With an overall average of 20LPA, where Computer Science and Engineering branch average is 27.9LPA package and all the big companies visit our college like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Sprinklr, Cisco, Amazon, Atlassian, Google, Facebook, etc. Highest Package 1.35 crore. My plan after college is to join a good company with a good salary.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure varies for students of different categories the Fee for students with income greater than 5 lakh is approximately 2 lakh per year and for those with income less than 5 lakh and greater than 1 lakh is 33% of the total fee and for those with income less than 1 lakh, there is no tuition fee for them only semester and the registration fee is required. SC/ST students have no tution fee.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is very good with lots of greenery and a large campus with a natural environment generally every sports facilities are available. There are many technical and cultural clubs like Coding Club, Google Developer Students Club, E-Cell, Robotics Club, and Aero Club and there are many cultural clubs that I can't even remember. All the clubs are led by students with the support of professors. There are two fests in a year one is Cultural Fest Culruv generally in April-May and Technical Fest Aviskar generally in Nov-Dec.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The first year hostel is very good with 3 accommodation rooms and large rooms. 2nd and 3rd-year hostels are old but they are good and the Final Year hostel is one of the best hostels in any college in India with a 14-floor hostel building. The mess menu is decided by the student mess committee and the food quality is good. The registration process for a hostel is along with the registration of academics. 25000 is free for mess per semester but they give a refund if excess money is left. Generally, PG is not preferred as the college is very big and not possible to come for every class from PG.

Admission

The addmission process is based on JOSAA counseling after qualifying JEE Mains with a very good rank for getting admission in this college and min 75% in board class 12th. The application form for JEE Mains is generally rolled out in January and two attempts are available in a year any candidate can appear in both attempts and the best score is considered for counseling. The application form is available at the official website of NTA JEE Main with an application fee of generally 500/per person. The general cutoff for this college for getting addmission is 98 percentile for Generals, 96 percentile for OBC, and lesser for SC/ST. For getting computer Computer Science and Engineering in this college General rank should be less than 5000 for both home state and other state students and OBC is less than 9000 CRL for home state and less than 6000 for other state students. For SC/ST students it is easier to get into it with lesser ranks with upto 1lakh CRL.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.
