I liked about the campus is all campus is wi fi enabled.
Lots of fest and sports are played in our college
There is separate buildings for civil and mechanical branch

Dislikes

Campus size is very small and having old equipment
There is compulsory to attend classes of all students of all branches

Course Curriculum Overview

In our college cse department has the highest placement chances. Student:Faculty 90:900 Faculties are good all are well-qualified professors Every two months there is mid semester exam and after 6 months there will be end-semester exams taken.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 67000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college provides internships in electrical engineering, civil engineering and mechanical engineering. There are two projects that are prepared in internship minor and major projects for these branches.

Placement Experience

From 7 semesters you can be eligible for placement in companies. There are lots of companies like Amani groups of construction, ACC, Wipro, orient craft, etc are visited in our college. The highest package is 12 lakes and the average package is 3-4 lac Only 60 % of students are placed. I am thinking of doing m.tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very minimal Compared with other colleges. The fee for btech courses is 67000 per year. E Kalyan is the website that provides scholarships to students the bona fide provided by the college.

Campus Life

Genesis fest is celebrated every year and the swastika is also celebrated for junior's fresher party. The central library is present in the college which contains 12000 books of all branches. Amenities are good in class Cricket, volleyball, football, basketball, badminton etc are played in our college. Cultural community environment community and lots of clubs and communities are there in college.

Hostel Facilities

There is a separate hostel for boys and girls having good facilities like wi-fi enabled rooms are also good. The food is not too good but manageable. Registration is very simple you have to fill out a formality form to take admission Rooms and pg are also near to college.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

Eligibility for admission to this college is 12th pass with 45% of marks. The application form is available online the cost is 1000 rs. If you are st/sc or obc then definitely you will have more preference in admission. The admission process is as it is.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

A Real Student Experience at DEC

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.
