Course Curriculum Overview

I am a student of economics hons and I opt this course because of my great interest. The economics faculty is good but sometimes the proper teaching method is good like they will give any specific book or any study material, and you must do all the things by yourself. Otherwise, teachers are just good, you have to keep in mind that there will be no spoonfeeding. After every 6 months, there will be a semester, and semester exams are quite difficult.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Basically, the fees are not so high middle-class families can afford the fee. There are many scholarships applying for that your fee will be dedicated to 50% or more than 50%. Like up scholarship and DSW scholarship and fewer internship opportunities they will provide you. You have to find yourself for any internships or courses.

Campus Life

Life at the Amu Campus can be quite vibrant and engaging. The social scene at Amu Campus is lively. Students often gather at the campus cafes and common areas to socialize. There are also various student-led events, parties, and cultural gatherings throughout the year. The campus hosts a variety of clubs and organizations catering to different interests, such as literature, music, drama, and sports. Some popular ones include the "Tech Wizards" for tech enthusiasts and the "Literary Society" for book lovers. The campus boasts modern infrastructure, including well-equipped classrooms with audio-visual facilities, making the learning environment conducive. The library, computer labs, and research facilities are also top-notch.

Admission

Equivalent to class 12 is the eligibility criteria for getting admission into University. For submitting the application form there's an official website amucontroller, and there you have to provide your all documents and qualifications address etc. There is an expected cutoff for every category or reservation but I belong to the general category and the cutoff for them is expected 50+. As such there is no need for an admission process but they can be more systematic and fast.

Placement Experience:

?I dont remeber clearly about the eligibjlity process but i think from the sem5 students are eligible for the placement campus im not sure about it ?many companies like Pan India ,Sbi ,axis bank etc visited in the campus ?the avarage package i have seen from the student got the 4 to 5 Lpa And the hight i think its 13Lpa ?60% PECENTAGE OF STUDENTS getting placemnets ? my plans are diffrent ,after completing my degree i want to go further for the film making

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for campus placement. However the campus placement doesn't prove very helpful. Few people get placement from B.A courses. Students of B.Com and B.Sc are more likely to get placement.

Remarks:

Any of my siblings studied from this college which gave me a clear view of the environment of this college from the start. It was also very close to my home making it easier for me to commute daily. And as I always wanted to study in an all girls college, this seemed a better option. It had good faculty and infrastructure making it different from other colleges around.

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any).
