Course Curriculum Overview

I have an interest in computers and I am always fascinated by how this works that's why I choose IT. Some of the faculties are great but some are not, it is like 70% of the faculties are great but for others, you should prepare on your own. The exam is easy to pass if you start your preparation before 2 weeks of the exam.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There is a Summer internship program in which students get the opportunity to get industrial experience and get hands-on experience on the projects and build some great projects that can help them in their placements.

Placement Experience

The average Placement for the Technical Branch is around 6 LPA. The highest Placement is 8-9 LPA. Around 50% of students got the placements. These are the companies are came for the Placements: Creast Data System, Gateway, EInfochip, Tatva Soft, Cybage, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 110000 per year means you have to pay 53000 per semester. There are many scholarships for students that are offered by the Gujarat government like MYSY, FOOD BILL, PM Yashasvi, etc. There is a seperate Scholarship Department and it is very helpful for assistance and any further queries.

Campus Life

Every year a Fest is held called Spectrum, It is for 3 days and great fun. Campus life is good, there are many other activities rather than academics. You can get all the books related to your study in the library. There is no AC in the classroom but there is AC in Lab. There is a Sports Complex where you can play different games like Table Tennis, Badminton, etc. A huge Cricket Ground. GDSC, Dance, etc. clubs.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are Best, 2 types of rooms AC and Non AC. Hostel Mess is not that good, You can contact the college's hostel department. Cooler is Available. The hostel is nearby the college. For Non AC: 57000, for AC: 62000+AC Bill.

Hostel Fee: INR 57000 per year

Admission

If you have good grades probably you can get direct admission, other that you can get admission through the ACPC website. There is a choice filling and if you are selected then you can get admission, You can get admission with management quota via the CVM University portal, other than after the 2 round completion of ACPC you can go to the college and if there is a seat then you can get admission via vacant quota. I have one suggestion for the admission process: they should take their exam and if students get more marks they should give scholarships to those students.

the placement at vgec at decent, especially considering it is a government college with very low fees. student become eligible for campus placement from the 6 th and the main placement drives begin in the 7 th and 8 th semesters. many well known compnies visit the camppus every tear for software , core engineering and management roles. compnies like TCS, infosys, wipro , taat consultancy, adani, gsfc,and a few stertup hire students from different branches. the number of offers varies every year , but the overall trend is improving . some companies offer multiple job roles such as software engineer , QA engineering , embendede engineering , trainee engineering and analyst position . higher pacage is 5 lacks. after completing my degree , i plan to focus on improving my technical skills .

Decent college with room to grow

Placement Experience:

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester.The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree,wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also,beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects,they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.

I applied for colleges like BVM and GCET but i couldn't able to make it there because my ACPC rank was not enough to get the admission there. But i decided to join this college because i got this college thorugh ACPC as assigned, this college was ovbiously in my list after the first two. The process was too simple for me as i got assigned this college from ACPC so i payed seat resevation fees (20000 rs ) on the website of the ACPC and on the next day i reached to the college for the other paper and document submission work. which took only one and a half hour to get completed , The document submission process was too smooth. The thing which makes this college different from others is that here students get many extra curricular and Sports activities.
