Course Curriculum Overview
I chose psychology as my personal interest. The faculties of my department are so cool and quite approachable. As they're psychologists, they handle everyone uniquely. Most faculty members are Ph.D. holders in the department. There are 10 faculties for 200 students in our department. Our semesters are conducted in the November and April months and they're all set in such a way that it gives scope for difficult students to pass, and also keeps check against easy students from getting centum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The College provides scholarships for underprivileged students. But I'm not sure about the concession amount. The college fees itself is not that costly. Shift 1 pays 40000 and Shift 2 60000 per year. So compared to other colleges, this is quite affordable.
Campus Life
Our college conducts an annual intercollegiate event in March. There are also other intercollegiate and interdepartmental fests conducted by each department, clubs and language. The library we have is a vast one with various books under all categories. The class room has smart boards, 6 fans, and furniture to sit for everyone and is well ventilated. We have a student training program with various sports that are compulsory for all students of Stella. Also, clubs for various arts and skills are available.
Admission
The admission process for Stella Maris College is completely online. The link for admission will be there on the college website itself. The application fee would be 150 and it starts in March. The basic eligibility for UG is the completion of the 12th STD. And for PG is the completion of UG. Hostel facilities are also available. Catholics and Christians will be given some preference for admission. But if you've got above 90% there's a high chance of getting through not being catholic. The college infrastructure, training, and everything is amazing and it causes a holistic development.
