Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course because there are many job opportunities in the course. The faculty is very helpful and cooperative.in the CBCS system, there are semester exams...which are conducted over 4 months. If the exam is conducted in 40 marks then the passing mark is 16.

Admission

The college conducts both offline and online mode of application processing. For admission in UG Courses, the candidates must have passed 10+2 in relevant subjects from any recognised Board. Selection of the candidates in these UG programmes is strictly based on the merit of the qualifying examination. Admission in PG Courses requires the candidates to possess a bachelor’s degree in Honours/ General/ Other major relevant subjects or an equivalent examination from West Bengal University/ CU. However, candidates from other recognised universities must have at least 800 marks. The candidates are selected on the basis of an admission test conducted by the concerned department of the college along with the merit of the qualifying examination.

A college with very good campus life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Geology is a very good subject and it has very huge future perspectives. I heard about this subject from my teacher and then i researched about it and I love the subject. The facility : student is about 1:5 . Proffesors are post graduated. Term exams were held twice a year and they are not so difficult to pass. Teaching stuffs are not so good and they don't do their work properly. They are very lazy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams were taken frequently. The teachers of the each subjects generally took a class test after 2 week. Then before the semister there was a full marks test.. I wouldn't say that it was very easy to pass all the exams..But if you follow the classes regularly then you must do well in the exam and pass the exam easily.. The questions were also setted according to the university pattern.

I have a great interest in doing chemical experiment.So it's obvious yo chose this subject. Chemistry department has lot of specialized faculty and they all have impressive qualifications.Above all they were very helpful and supportive.We got lot of helps from them. Teacher and student ratio was approximately 1:45.I have my three year course and there were 6 papers to qualify.Two papers in one year span. Its quite tough to pass every papers because question papers were really standard and there was no way to cheat in the exam hall. We had to go other colleges to give yerly exams.

I love my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love biology so i took this subject. In zoology department there are 32 students in my batch , approximately 100 students in our whole zoology department. Teacher are so good..they are too Frank with us. We love them. There are 6 semester in 3 years. Exam questions is very knowledgeable. It is not difficult to pass if one study hard.

I had applied to chandanagar goverment college i got confoirmed for only Barrackpore rastraguru surendranath college i choose this college over others beacuse i was only selected for this college i had applied for only two Yes i got rejected from chandannagar goverment college i was not in the merit list may be because of cutoff of 70% The Admission procces is first go on college website and register and after registration merit out amd tou get selcted cutoff is 60% the overall admission procces was easy...Read More
