Since I have a diploma, I think, the same subject will be easy for me to study. That's why I chose this course. There are many talented and good faculties for each subject. You should do an internship outside the college. The college will not provide internships. They will not cut your attendance if you give the necessary proof of attending the internships. The internship and project are a package. You can create your own project ideas.

The fee for general category lateral entry students is much higher than for other students. The seat of lateral entry students is in the NRI category. College day will be in September or October, tech fest will be in June or July. Onam celebration and Holi celebration are other celebrations. Sports Day will be in December or January. The college life is very nice. There is a college library and you will get the books related to your course. You can hold the book for three days. And then you can renew the book if you need the same one again.

Near the college, there are a lot of hostels. In one room, there will be 4 to 5 single cots. And you should bring a bed and pillow for your cot. The food quality was excellent for me. My hostel's name was Surya hostel. The owner was very kind and gentle to all students. You can visit the hotel directly and if there is a vacancy then you will get one cot. The fee was affordable to me.

After a diploma in computer engineering from the government polytechnic college Kalamassery, I attended the lateral entry test for btech. Then I got a seat at cochin university college of Engineering, Kuttanad in alappuzha district. I got admission to the 3rd semester of btech. That is one advantage of this lateral entry test. And this entrance is only for diploma holders. The admission process was very simple. The details about the admission date, and available seats, all will be published on their college website.
