I really love the anti ragging policy from our college.
I got good friend group that I got in the college.
Infrastructure and green campus is good.

Dislikes

The campus is not quite big. In science campus there is no playground.
The college computers are very old generations.
The college doesn't provide facility like wifi.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love computers from my childhood. So I choose this course. Faculty has almost 10 teachers and students are around 38. They take classes regularly. All teachers are highly qualified. Some of them have Ph.D. degrees. They teach in a friendly manner. We have semester exams. 2 semesters in a year. If you study regularly or consistently then you can easily pass the exams.

Class Size: 38Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Placement Experience

Generally, companies come during the 5th semester. One has to pass all the I, II, III, IV semesters in order to sit for placements. Companies like cognizant, Wipro, tcs, Amazon, ibm visit our campus and hire according to them. The highest package is 2.52 LPA and lowest is 1.8LPA. From our department out of 38, only 8 students got placed. I'll peruse MSc after this.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total 3 years cost of this course in this college is about like 44000 including semester fees, exam fees, all type of fees. One can persue the whole degree with 44000 rupees. Even if you get 60% in a year (combined 2 semesters) you'll get a government scholarship of rs. 18000. Overall experience is good. It also provides placements.

Campus Life

There is 2 fest at the end of the year, one is a freshers' party and another is a cultural fest. Er, have so much fun. Now talking about the library it has a vast amount of books collection. Almost there is every kind of subject-related book. Amenities are well. You can participate in extracurricular activities. No there are no such groups run by students.

Admission

You have to pass 10th with 60 % and 12th with 60% or above and you have to score 55% in math /CS. You can find the application form from brsnc.in website. All details are provided there. No there is already a good admission process.

Cirrculam is more theoritical just. There is negligible practical life lessons. Just like normal college, u study just to get degree. The whole cirriculam should be improved. Examination is held only once - midsems, endsems thats all.

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.
