Course Curriculum Overview

My rank was around 1lakh and moreover, I always had an interest in this field. The facilities are really excellent and are extremely knowledgeable. Most of our faculty members have completed their master's from reputed colleges in India with immense knowledge. Their teaching method is also amazing. They are very cooperative. We used to have semester examinations every 6 months and 2 internal examinations within that term

Placement Experience

We do not that a good placement facility. Students become eligible for the placements from their 6 semester. Cse has having good placement opportunity. The average package is around 5 - 6 lakhs. And 75-80 per cent of students are getting placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the students pursuing computer science engineering and electronics and telecommunication engineering are a little higher since these courses are self-sustained and for the rest branches the fees are really economical. There are many scholarships available for financially backward students as well as for worthy students. Educational loans are also available for the students.

Campus Life

Campus Life is good. Our campus is full of greenery and the campus is pollution-free. Our annual fest is horizon. The tech fest of our branch is Technovation. They are conducted around April - May. We have a lot of books in the library, whatever book we need we can easily find in the library and we also have a virtual library. All the Classrooms have smart boards and free Wi-Fi access.

Hostel Facilities

For girls we are having 2 hostels nd for boys we are having 6 hostels . The rooms in ths hostel are big but we have to stay 4-5 members . Hostels are also having free wifi access. The meals are of good quality but not up to the mark . And we are having in time of 7 pm in girls hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

I took the jee main examination then through state level ojee councelling I got Cse in IGIT, Sarang. My rank was around 1 lakh. I had to submit the required applications like my jee rank card, 12th mark sheet and 10th Mark sheet and if have any reservations then you can also submit that and after the final round of councelling you will have to go for the admission

Navigating KIIT : a comprehensive review of facilities and experiences

Placement Experience:

the placements are preety good in this college . however currenty the job market is down so it has impacted the college placements. from 6th semester onwards students become eligible for placements however the companies visit from 7th sem onwards . many renowned companies visit along with multiple startups offering from a range 4 lpa to 24 lpa all based on the potential of the students. the college offers a 100% placement but looking at current senario it seems difficult. mostly companies hire for sowftware engineers and product manager roles but , also provide marketing and sales job roles. 25 lakhs per annum is the highest package in the recent time average package is abput 5-10 lakhs per annum. though college promises 100% placements, the actual percentage is quite low about 50-60% students are getting placed which is also a result of the current job market scenario my plans after this degree is joining a company and finding my passion . i can also tink about my own startup based on my passion to make a change in the society .

Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology is a government college but provides much more facilities like private colleges.

In odisha we have a specific counselling procees named as OJEE counselling. In this we have to apply for many colleges as we want. So i applied for VSSUT,Burla and OUTR,Bhubaneswar and many more colleges. But i got this college (Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology , Dhenkanal) as according to my JEE main rank. I chose this college for this particular branch . Electrical engineering is a very respected branch in our college as many industries are built near this area which take students from campus selections.
