Remarks

not a good college, i don't recommend anyone to join this college, no good labs, no facilities are provided to the students. The canteen is the worst part of the college not at all, everything is costly in the canteen, rarely students go to canteen to have their lunch, nothing much to say about this college, last words are PLS DONT COME TO THIS COLLEGE

Entrance Preview

I wrote the cet entrance exam i got an ranking around 34256 and finally i wanted a robotics and i was a robotics geek so i go this college for my ranking, the course was simply awesome but there are not much facilities provided in the college. There was no interview process for admission, I love robotics and artificial intelligence so took up this course.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course was good, There is no much preference given to the practical learning, faculties are ready to teach everything but the college doesn't provide funds and all for the extra things, No research initiatives and all only the E&C department has their own research centers opened and even biotech also.

Internships Opportunities

no support from the college towards the internship, students have to search for the internships and they have to do it on their own, I did not do any internship till now so i don't know much about the stipend amount.

Placement Experience

1

placement scenario is not so good in our college, we do not get the core comapanies coming to the college for hiring, Companies like alpha 9, tech mahindra, Hgs visited the college for the recruitment. Average package is around 3-5 lakhs thats it not much.

College Events

1.5

we have yearly once one fest going on that is the OXYFEST, which involves both the technical and the cultural stuff going on, today we have karanataka rajyotsava going on in our college this is a cultural event happening , college rarely suppoprts for such kinds.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I Paid the fees of 49510 per year apart from this is paid the fees of 12k as the college fees, nothing apart from this , if the college is providing the workshops then we have to pay and attend the workshops and all.

Fees and Financial Aid

yes scholarships are provided from the college which come from the government, yes college also helps in getting the loan from the bank nearby.

Campus Life

3

college is not supportive in terms of the extracurricular and all, students themselves have to put the money and go nad attend the events, no opportunities are given for the students to explore their talent.

Hostel Facilities

3

hostel is the worst part of the life in oxford, good is an average, I paid the fees of 69k per year and no proper facilities are provided to the hostelites, cleaning is not done properly.

Alumni/Alumna

no alumni network and all in our college, we have never seen our seniors after they have left the college.

Exam Structure

there are three internals and best of two will be selected, It was actually the chill cultures kinda things, no much portions will be there for the internals usually the one and half module for each internal. For labs we have only one internal.

Faculty

4

Faculties all are M.tech holders and some of them are doing their P.hD , they are interactive and they are supportive with the students and all are encouraging, the standard of teaching is also good, some of them have experience while some are freshers.

Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. Off-Campus Drives & Internships: Students are encouraged to undertake industry internships and live projects to build their portfolios, making it easier to land off-campus roles at top tech companies.

This is the best part. The whole point of niat program is to get a study for the job. It's not like the old system where you chill for 3 years and panic in the 4th year. All the learning here are very different. From the first day itself we will be doing coding.
