Remarks

The college has very big and good campus area. The college has good staff and good placements and less fees. This college is very good for enjoyment.

Entrance Preview

I got admission in first year engineering on the basis of combination of HSC and JEE marks. JEE exam is taken for getting admission. I followed the DTE process for admission. No interview process.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good. They are taking less practical sessions but telling more about industries in lectures. Research activities are taken by this institute like working on any live projects of the companies, etc.

Internships Opportunities

The college has good internship scenario. The college alsi provides very good internships to the students. These internships are free, not paid.

The college has good placements. Major recruiters are come like Tata motors, Bajaj, L& T. 10-15% students got placed. Average package is Rs. 4 LPM.

Events scenario is also very good. There are various types of events are taken by college. The college life is very much enjoyfull for students.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

About our college

I choose this college becoz I got admission in computer engineering under government scholarship due to good CET percentile . As I got this college in first list instead of taking any risk I confirmed the admission. I applied different colleges but was offered under private quota where fees was way higher than this . The colleges like VIT, MIT and other highly rated colleges have good practical syllabus for students where students are trained well. The sports teams is not much supported in our college but other colleges do support.
