What Students Say
Likes
- I liked PAHADI the most, it's behind the canteen area. It's greenery with rocks and grasses you can have some chill time there.
- Canteen is very affordable, it's cheapest canteen of Delhi University.
- College infrastructure is good and Full of trees and shrubs and sitting spaces.
Dislikes
- There is much placement except b. com students.
- If you are joining for placement then it's not the ideal college for you
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose BA PROGRAM ( history+ political science) as it is one of the major subjects in competitive exams, the faculties are very good, especially the political science and English departments, administration staffs are just a bit irresponsible and arrogant. There were semester exams and class presentations. Attendance matters to get good internal marks.
Placement Experience
There is no placement at all. And as a student of BA humanities, I shouldn't expect to get placed in college. But after completing your graduation from Delhi University you can easily get a job through employment apps if you want. I had no plans of joining a private firm.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are under 10k including exam fees and all extra charges per annum. If you are coming from outside then your primary expense will be on accommodation. There is no kind of stipend or financial assistance from college if you are expecting one, you can avail scholarship from the central or state government if you are eligible.
Campus Life
Fest is the best part of Delhi University and the main attraction why students dream to join Delhi University Fest is conducted around jan-feb. In 2019 just before covid, we organized a successful fest, and STARS-like manner butter and inder chahal performed in it. It's up to the student union leader to organize the fest well in 2022 I heard a nobody singer perform in MLNCE. The library is good availability of books is also okay, no complaints about that.
Admission
I got admission in the second cut-off by my 12th mark. Yes, those were the days before CUET when Delhi University was dominated by CBSE students as state board toppers don't get 100/95%. I have 84% in the best four I got admission in the second cut-off through the EWS category. I was eligible in the first cut off but I missed it waiting for better opportunities as I was expecting Satyawati, Shivaji, and dyal singh types colleges. You can't opt for geography honors btw if you haven't studied it in 12th.
