Remarks

The admission process was very good. Eligibility of the course is based on the keam exam marks. The application form will get from the office. All staffs are very good. I finished the admission process very fast.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to become a software engineer so I choose this course. The qualification of the faculties are excellent. And all faculties know very much about this course. Term exams are coming after 5 months. Not difficult to pass. All teachers are up to date.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee s 80000. Many scholarships are there so that average people can also afford the courses. Fees for hiking are less. The cost to study is also moderate. If we want a time period to pay the fees they will give. Not any final date or anything.

Campus Life

Sports and extracurricular activities are all included in the college. Many social groups, clubs, and websites are also included in the college. Amenities in the classroom are also good. Many books of our courses are available in the library.

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future
