Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because it provides a massive amount of opportunities in the IT field. Faculties are highly qualified in their field of teaching. My course will always have demand and therefore there 2 batches of CSE which is different from another course as it will only have a maximum 1 batches. There are 2 internal exams in each semester which are moderately easy to pass. Some subjects require more amount study to master them.
Internships Opportunities
Interships opportunities are fewer but it will be paid internship if it's being conducted. Other than paid internships we can get internship opportunities through alumni and college club networking. There will be a mini project in the third year and a major project in the final year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The average tuition is somewhere around 85000 rupees. But there are various scholarships for minority classes and the college provides merit seat fee concessions according to the keam ranking. Various government scholarships are also provided. I am still studying so I can't give a word about the stipend and job provided.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of the college is worth the tuition fee given. The college has a basketball court and a football court. There is a canteen and a cafe for refreshments and lunch. The food provided is good. Even though sports activities are fewer, there is an annual sports meeting every year and the competition is between the departments in the college. There is a football team and a basketball team in college and participates in various tournaments across the district and state. There are many clubs for collaborating with various students. There are google developers club Tinkerhub photography and innovation and research club. The college also supports startup of students. There will be an industrial visit trip in the 3rd year of college. The college library is well maintained and you can find any books your desire. There are also tech fests and cultural events where eminent personalities are invited such as actors and other public figures.
Admission
The eligibility of this course is bioscience or computer science in plus two. College accepts Keam entrance rank for seat allocation. I got a merit seat by keam ranking. Management quota is also possible and there are NRI seats also but limited. There are fee concessions for backward classes and merit scholarship fee concessions according to keam rank. Cutoff rank varies each year but the average cut-off rank comes somewhere between 30000. For management seats, you have contact with the college. Government seats are alloted by keam counseling.
