Course Curriculum Overview

3

This course is widely choosen by students of commerce background, who are not that good in studies or are doing some other course simultaneously, and I am also doing preparation for a competitive exam so I took admission to this course. About Faculty: The student ratio of the faculties are less than the students but there are very few students who go to college regularly so the ratio is maintained.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are to be paid per semester and there are 2 semesters, there are scholarships for the SC/ST/OBC, but not for ews. The fees are not hiked every year. I have no knowledge about financial assistance. There are no such campus jobs.

Campus Life

3.5

There is no such big campus, it's just a 10 floored building and there is a library and availability of books there for every semester there are books, old exam papers and all the study-related materials, There are all the basic facilities in the classroom and in the college, There is no campus so there are no sports events organized by the college but the circular about Sports events organized by the university is provided, There are different functions organized by students and the college such as the Fresher's party,(August/September) Navratri(November), Farewell party(April/march), Days celebration(February/march), and Holi celebration(march).

Admission

There was no entrance exam conducted. The admission process was very simple, just created an id on the website of Gujarat University and then fill up the form and verify your documents at any nearest government college and then wait for choice filling then there will be a college allotment for total of 3 online rounds and then the University will issue a circular about remaining seats after online rounds and then one can take admission by offline rounds which are 2/3 and if someone got the allotment online/offline then reach the college and pay fees and the admission is confirmed. The person must pass his/her 12th board for admission. There are benefits of reservation for SC, ST, OBC, EWS etc. There is no such improvement needed but the time taken by the University for admission is very long

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the reasons that i got attracted to this college was the real life based curriculum. The faculties made sure to implement and involve such courses and Lab based subjects so that we are job-ready from the very first day. All the softwares used in corporate world and offices were included in our learnings semester after semester.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements probably after the 6th sem. Companies visiting including TCS, axis Bank, Hdfc bank and firms from finance sector . The highest package being 5.5 lacks and the average being 3 lacks while the median being 2.7 lacks. The total offers made in 2025 are approximately around 50 to 60. Profiles offered are marketing and accounting and maybe 50 to 70 percentage students being placed and rest being at their own. My plans after this course is to countinue further studies in the same field
