- Faculty: faculty is amazing in the college. They know what they are teaching. They are experts in their subjects. They are supportive and also gives thorough knowledge regarding different aspects of life.
- Management: The management is amazing in college. You don't have to worry about anything. They are ready to help you everytime.
- Classroom: Classrooms are great and spacious.
Dislikes
- Parking: Parking is not available so you have to park in compound of the college. So it sometimes gets very messy.
- Vertical building: Som Lalit building is vertical and only two lifts are available which is tough enough for regular days but gets messy in exam times.
Course Curriculum Overview
Som lalit college of commerce is affiliated with Gujarat University. Gujarat University have amazing, knowledgeable commerce syllabus which helps in building the knowledge of Commerce overall. The faculty of Som Lalit college of commerce is very much experienced. They know their subjects very well. They are always ready to help students and guide them well. They have always shown interest in teaching which helps motivate the students. It is amazing atmosphere they create that helps students get practical ideas about every subject. Course is completed by faculty before a month of exams which helps students prepare for it easily in the given time.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is something like this: 1st sem: 6420 + form rs 20 2nd sem: 6420 3rd sem: 6420 + form rs 20 4th sem: 6420 5th sem: 6420 + form rs 20 6th sem: 6420 There is a Library fees of a nominal amout also taken at the time of admission but it is refundable so no worries. The complete cost of bcom for all three years would be around 39000. Which is great because the service the college provides is amazing compared to other colleges. As far as my knowledge, no scholarship is provided to students by this college.
Campus Life
Library has wide range of books in respect of the course. There are also last year's papers, both internal and external available in the library. Classrooms are also noice and spacious. As college is irregular, the classroom have very less students which makes the rapport with professor and teaching is amazing because of individual attention by the professor. Annually, days are celebrated in the college (such as: bollywood day, black and white day, traditional day, group day, retro day, etc) Competition is held along with days annually (such as: painting, poster making, mehendi etc) Fresher's party and Farewell party are organised by students in the college every year.
Admission
The admission process is done by merit. Only 12th board percentage is taken into account for admission. Reservation benefit is there for reservation candidates in which there is relaxation in minimum percentage. It is very easy admission process, the management will be there to help you through it.
