Remarks

My overall experience is average i would say . It is very different kind of situation for me shifting from 10 -12 to engineering and technical subjects.

Entrance Preview

I wrote cet and jee entrance exam. I land up in this college by engineering cap round. No interview process was followed. By seeing the market need and also my little interest.

Course Curriculum Overview

Since I'm in 1st year FE student so I can't answer that question right now. From my knowledge no research initiative taken by the institute.

Internships Opportunities

I don't know that college provide any internship to students. So I can't answer this question. But some seniors says they get internship by institute which tie up with college.

Placement Experience

Since I'm in 1st year I can't answer this question properly. But by seeing the prospectus of college and experience of seniors placement is average i would say. Last year very few students gets placed. But last to last year most of the students gets placed . So it all depends on the market. Major companies like Amazon ,Tata consultancies etc. Visited the college. Average package is 2.5 -3.5 lakhs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for me is comparatively low as compared to open class student I'm in NT-D caste and I paid around ₹15000 for 1st year.

College provide scholarship for bright students. I didn't avail any scholarship .

Hostel Facilities

My college has no hostel facility.

Exam Structure

Yes,exams and labs very frequent make me feel tired at the end of the day.

Faculty

The faculty is very much experienced and each one has experience of minimum 5-7 years The facilities are very much interactive.The standard of teaching is also very good except of 1 or 2 subject which is also good but not very good.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. In recent mind space give place about 12 lpa. Placement percentage is 80 percentage After getting degree my plan is for higher studies.

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

i had seen Companies visiting like Entrata, Airtel, Honeywell etc..... Highest package till now for currently year is 15 lacks. I had also seen students who are doing interships and are placed there only.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
