Course Curriculum Overview

I decided to choose the civil engineering department because I am very interested in the subject because it helps to modify the infrastructure and design of the site for the modern era of locality with the consult eyes of nature. In a simple language, I have to choose it for the good elegant. And I love it. Students and faculty are average good with each other. Professors are very professional and good at teaching. Motivates for competition exams. Most professors of the Civil engineering department of Jec College are post-graduated from IITs and their teaching method is also good. Semester exams are on time and it is not so difficult to clear it.

Class Size: 79Course Fees: INR 22300 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 22300 For the Scholarship category students which we get from the scholarship. MPTAAS PMS scholarship. And the rest of the people who do not get scholarships pay the 11000 for every semester.

Campus Life

The annual fest was held in April. The name of the fest is AAVAHAN 2023 basically it is a sports fest of the college that contains lot of sports for girls and boys both between different branches of the college Books and journals we can easily get from the college library There are fan benches tables smart boards and green boards is provide for class education. There is a lab for the experiment for the respective subject Different types of clubs have been made for different activities like sports clubs. Dance on. Raag club and so many others. Kaarwaan is a social group which helps to provide free education to school students by college students.

Hostel Facilities

There is a fan, bed, and table, Chair cupboard in my room. Mess is good and the menu is decided by the students itself day by day. There will be a form for hostel admission after some days there will be a list of admitted students for hostel accommodation. Good affordable is 2200 /2700 per year. Hostel Fee: INR 2216 per year

Admission

Eligibility for the course depends on your JEE marks and your category. All the regarding information of selections of colleges can be found on the website mpdte counselling. The scholarship we have provided is in the corner of the reservation benefit. Everything is fine but there should be given some time for the process for admission to college during counselling sessions for the arrangement of documents.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

About placement, I would say companies used to visit. If a person is serious and want to grow then he has the opportunity to face the FAAN companies only if he has scored the gpa above 9 in whole 8 semsters.

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. I got an offer at cognizant during my college so currently I am not looking for the higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

Last year there was approx 100+ company comes to the college for recruiting students. Last year their highest package is approx 10LPA and a minimum of 4LPA. Approx 80% of students are getting placed till last year and some of them are working in MNCs right now and some of them are opening their startups. After graduation, I decided to pursue higher studies abroad.

After my jee didn't go well, I applied for MPDTE counselling where I got to know that JEC jabalpur best fits as per my financial conditions. Also I prefer hostel life which I got in this college with minimum fee . Jabalpur Engineering College enough review

Yes , i can apply for this college for reason is it was a good college in your lower rank in jee mains exam you can also admit 12 th result and lateral entry for diploma students. Every year in july and august time there was counsling happed you can apply through mpdte portal andyou can join at lower rank and if your are not able to pay more fee in private colleges that was a good option for you . So admission process is via MPDTE councelling which is the state level councelling process. Student get admission through the jee mains percentage. Accordingly they got the branch .
