Course Curriculum Overview

CSE gives more scope to the candidates to get placed in well-paying companies, that's why I chose CSE. Faculty-student ratio better be avoided because of lack of interest. Depending on the faculty we face, their methods of teaching decide the difficulty in passing.

Many famous Universities of foreign are acknowledged the students of mrcet, and are eager to welcome scholors of mrcet, Cambridge University is also involving in teaching students better language skills.

Placement Experience

Well, placements are better than other colleges but higher packages are so rare. The pass percentage is certainly good but it's not enough to make a good placement impression. Maximum students are getting placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike is a big trouble for students. A whopping of 10000 has been increased and it's tough to pay it. The total fee becomes 110000 without fee reimbursement. The cost to study is a bit more compared to the colleges which lie at the same level.

Campus Life

The fests were okay and satisfactory and almost met the expectations of students. The availability of books and journals is good and classrooms are maintained well. Unfortunately, no clubs or groups are run by students.

Admission

The admission process was as usual, I wrote TS Eamcet and my rank was 37137. I belong to BC and got CSE in 3rd counselling. You can find all the details about admission, fee payment, etc.. through the Eamcet official website. All the admission steps are satisfactory.

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
