Remarks

Overall the environment, the infrastructure, the facilities everything seems to be good except the placements. I would suggest that if you are much interested in enjoying your 4 yrs of your college life, then this place is just for as attendance is not an issue.

Entrance Preview

There an entrance exam called JEE Mains held every year for entrance into engineering colleges and this a place which you go for if you fail to score good in your exams as the cut off is too low here.

Course Curriculum Overview

Theres no difference in the course curriculum, as affiliated to Mumbai University the syllabus seema to been to same for all college that comes under MU. The syllabus according to be is quite lengthy but is really interesting if you yourself take iintrest. Overall all the curriculum is pretty good.

Internships Opportunities

No internships facilities are offered. As the college is planning to have some of them in the upcoming year. There's a special placements committee been set up in order to look after all the process related to placements and internship.

Placement Experience

Placement of this college is really very poor.Only Godrej conducts their campus interviews and hires just 2 or 3 students from production and mechanical branches. Few local companies also visits the college by they offer only 8000 - 10000 per month package. In short, the overall placements offered by the college is of no use.

College Events

There are cultural festival, sports activities with full dedication. There is an annual festival named 'HYPERKUBE' which goes for 3 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a private college the fee structure keeps on varying every year infact it keeps on increasing. The amount i paid this year was approximately 90,000.

If you are interested in extra activities (cultural events, sports, fun events) rather than technology and education, then this college is ideal for you.

Faculty

In our college, the teaching staff is very kind and cooperative. The faculty always works for our betterment. All faculty members are well trained and most of them are PhD holders or are pursuing it, atleast have completed their Masters.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement of this college is average, average package is 4.5 lpa most of the students are eligible from semester 7 The companies like Capgemini, Accenture, mind space, LTI, siemens, eclerx ,etc visited to college campus. The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Excelling with KGCE

Teaching staff - Good and helpful Extracurricular activities like Seminars, Project building courses related to their academics are held WiFi is Available Library, Gymkhana, Cyber Cafe - Available in good condition Annual sports and cultural festivals are held. The college is in a remote area so Buses for students and staff are available from the railway station to college also a special bus for students traveling from Pen via Khopoli.
