Fine. Overall infrastrusture was good but student finds diffuculty,in parking area which, was occupied,by government for under construction of metro

Govt kea- CET EXam it ,was conducted by government of karnataka for student. I was selected as, per my rank by government No interview was taken because i got the seat directly by government order I felt. It's my destiny

Course Curriculum Overview

GOOD.. FOR ALL Laboratory is well equipped and give more focus on practicals. So that by practical knowledge, theory may become easy.

Internships Opportunities

Yes It's was nearly for two months and good companies gave because of the name of college. All of the faculty helped for that.

Placement scenario was good enough. For a students to opp It have a major companies like wipro ,boch, emid, accenture oracle. And so on

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

Like companies like Amazon , Delloite , Indiamart,Cisco ,IBM, Mercedez benz R&d INDIA,Oracle , NVIDIA, Samsung,Tata, Wipro, currently in 2025 average package is of 11.9 LPA highest CTC is 71.94 LPA and median is 9.34 LPA currently 77,23% placed and remains ongoing Doing my masters in mechatronics or CSE from IITs or from Foreign univerisites

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well my subjects are right now, physics, pop(c), java,IME (introduction to mechanical engineering), mathamatics. Well curriculum is great as we got more programming languages and some of the moderate difficulty i would say. And also better exam conduction .
